We are delighted to announce that Simon Brodie has returned to Ability Handling in the newly created role of Field Service Manager. Simon has previously worked at Ability Handling, and SEV for that matter, as a field service engineer and is therefore already acquainted with many of his colleagues and customers alike.

This new position has been created in response to the unprecedented growth in our business over the last three years and is part of an overall restructuring plan for the future. As part of this plan our service and workshop functions have been separated into two, with Trevor Fisher now concentrating on the latter in the role of Workshop and Hire Manager.

Simon served his apprenticeship at another local forklift truck company before his stints at SEV and Ability and more recently he has worked as a Plant Inspector and Product Support Manager. Simon brings with him a wealth of hands-on engineering expertise in addition to an appreciation of the challenges of the mobile service environment that we are sure will help us deliver the outstanding customer experience we are striving to achieve.

On taking up his new role Simon said "I am delighted to be returning to Ability Handling at such an exciting time and play a part in taking the company forward. It has been great to see all my old colleagues again, many of whom I have stayed in touch with and why I jumped at the chance to rejoin the business".
