To counter soaring fuel prices we have tried smaller vans but found they could not carry sufficient parts and oils to keep remote engineers operational without constant replenishing. This additional travelling eliminated any fuel savings and also reduced engineer utilisation. 

After reviewing a number of options, we signed a fleet deal to replace our ageing vans with the latest incarnation of the legendary Ford Transit. GK Ford (now Perry's) who arranged the deal recommended this model over the softer 'Custom' version due to the functional design and rear wheel drive suited to transporting major components such as carriages, motors and attachments. The vans are supplied to us ply lined with a racking system installed and finished in our corporate livery.

Our engineers are delighted with the new vans, especially the additional storage space and standing height interior, but really we suspect it's the comfy seats and sound system they appreciate!
