Rotherham based GD Woodworking has recently taken delivery of a new Combilift C4000 on long term hire from Ability Handling.
Having moved to larger premises to cope with unprecedented demand for its solid wood joinery products, the company has replaced its existing hire machine with a new model to the latest specifications. With increasing production, GD Woodworking required a flexible, reliable forklift to carry out duties both outside and inside the factory and with this in mind Ability Handling offered them a solution using a new Combilift C4000 complete with a full cab and heater.
The new machine allows drive in both forwards and sideways modes and is fitted with an hydraulic fork positioner to give the operator full movement control for unloading long loads from heavy goods transport. The C4000 is also ideally suited to travelling long distances around the new factory site so the basic wood loads can be driven directly to the production line without the loss of space inside the unit.
Ability Handling is one of the longest established Combilift dealers in the UK and has unparalleled experience in the supply and support of multi-direction trucks for handling awkward loads. With a casual hire fleet of over 25 Combilift machines, Ability Handling are uniquely placed to provide a back up machine in the event of a breakdown on mission critical applications.
