Doosan forklift trucks are well known for their many safety and security features but these three electric trucks are now more secure than ever; because they're being used in a high security compound on a public sector contract!

The three brand new Doosan trucks are B25X-7 models, which are electrically powered and designed to deliver quiet, clean, efficient handling across a range of different applications in the kitchen stores and raw materials areas. All three trucks were supplied by Ability Handling as part of a public sector framework agreement for the provision of materials handing equipment and electric vehicles.

In order to meet the enhanced security measures required, all three of the Doosan trucks were supplied complete with a mast lock-off system, which prevents anyone from climbing onto the machine's forks and then lifting the forks above 2m. In addition, all the machines were fully featured with high capacity batteries, high frequency chargers for opportunity charging and part cab assemblies to provide weather protection in adverse conditions.

Meeting the detailed technical specifications and commercial requirements on public sector contracts can be daunting but staff here at Ability Handling have over two decades of experience of this framework agreement and with factory support were able to put together a winning bid.
