If you remember in April we launched a competition inviting our customers to provide use with some details in order to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the Open Championship which began on Thursday 14th July 2011 and ran until Sunday 17th July 2011.
People were trying to get their hands on tickets but Ability Handling had some as part of a competition. The competition ran in association with Doosan who are manufacturers of high quality forklift trucks which are strong, stylish, smart and stable.
We received so many entries which were all entered into a prize draw and then finally Ability Handling Ltd selected a winner!
The winning entrant turned out to be the rather aptly named Mr David 'Winn' who happens to be Transport Manager for A.W.Lumb’s, building merchants based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire was the lucky winner. He was so surprised to have been selected to attend The Open Golf Championship courtesy of Ability Handling and Doosan and he decided that the other ticket he would use to treat his Dad to a day at Royal St George’s, Kent.
Lee Brown, of Ability Handling personally presenting him with the tickets along with a Doosan branded jacket and a golf umbrella. Lee travelled to A W Lumb (northern) Ltd Head Office where he was greeted by the thrilled Mr Winn!
